Paraprofessional Services

ASFC provided counseling that assist the youth in identifying and resolving personal, social, vocational, intrapersonal and interpersonal concerns.

Community Support Individual/CSI. Paraprofessional-level staff (i.e., undergraduate degree in psychology or education or social work) provides support to the client in the community. As per an individual’s treatment plan, a paraprofessional teaches him/her skills (i.e., stress management skills, problem-solving skills, etc.), provide the client with resource linkage (i.e., information about access to resources needed, general entitlements, etc.) as well as provide case management services (i.e., coordinate to insure information is shared between health professionals).

Building Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is the belief that you can handle a certain situation correctly.

Self-confidence is knowing that you don’t lack any of the necessary skills in order to successfully complete a task. This task could vary from a social activity like being able to approach someone you don’t know, to a professional activity like the ability to complete a certain task that your work or your business needs. ASFC offers an array of individual and group services to help your youth build strong self-confidence skills.
